Lola Agent LLC (“Lola”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a discovery, recommendation, reservation and booking platform primarily for travel, restaurants, experiences and activities. Lola has members, not standard users. Because you must log in to use Lola, we can tailor your experience, offer private discounts, and take care of your travel planning seamlessly. Lola is a subsidiary of Booking Holdings.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully as it explains how we collect, use, process, and share your personal information. This Policy covers your use of Lola across our websites, mobile applications, AI assistants, messaging platform plug-ins, and voice/chat features (collectively, the “Service”).

How We Use Your Information: Your data powers our chat recommendations, builds your personalized travel profile, runs our waitlist, and helps train our core AI features.
How We Share Your Information: Data is shared with our Booking Holdings sister brands, service providers (e.g. airlines, hotels, travel agents, restaurants, experiences, activities, and related intermediaries), and trusted AI platforms under strict data privacy agreements
Your Privacy Choices: You are in control of Lola's AI memory. You can correct facts, adjust what the AI assumes about you, or opt out of private model training entirely.
1. Information We Collect and Ingest
A. Information You Give Us Directly
Account and Membership Details: Your name, email, address, phone number, and password.
Detailed Traveler Profiles: Essential booking details like your passport number, government ID, TSA PreCheck number, and info for your favorite travel companions.
Third-Party Site Credentials: Logins for external travel or loyalty programs that you share with us to unlock private rates or special features.
Preferences and Context: Your preferred airlines, hotel types, seating choices, dietary restrictions, and whether you are traveling for business or fun.
Payment Information: When you book a trip through Lola, we collect your credit or debit card details. This information is sent directly to our secure payment handlers and is never saved on Lola's main servers.
Public User Content: Reviews, photos, ratings, or shared itineraries you voluntarily post for other Lola members to see.
B. Connecting Your Email & Calendar (Our Two-Step System)
When you connect your personal accounts via secure Google OAuth, Lola securely finds your travel data using a privacy-first, two-step process:
The Secure Link: We securely receive your name, email, profile picture URL, and a unique account identifier.
Step 1 (Sorting): Our system checks only email headers and subject lines to find travel emails. Non-travel emails are completely ignored.
Step 2 (Extracting): For travel emails, Lola retrieves the full message body to extract structured itinerary facts (such as confirmation numbers, flight times, and hotel addresses). Once we pull these travel details, we automatically wipe the raw email text from our systems within 24 hours. Calendar Sync: We read your calendar events solely to make sure your travel recommendations do not conflict with your schedule.
C. Waitlist & Invitation Data
We may track your invitation and referral status, including your waitlist position and any benefits you earn for sharing Lola with friends.
D. Information Collected Automatically
When you use our app or site, we and our partners automatically collect standard technical details:
Device Info: Your operating system, browser, IP address, device type, and mobile carrier.
Location Data: Your general location (city or region), or precise GPS data if you give our app permission.
Usage Tracking: Your search history, chat logs and time spent on different screens. We track where you tap and scroll on your screen, but we only use that information to see if the app is freezing, crashing, or confusing, so we can fix bugs and make it run smoother.
2. How We Use Your Personal Information
We use your data to maintain a seamless, conversational experience, specifically for:
A. Running Lola and Tailoring Your Experience
Answering your chat prompts and booking flights, hotels, cars, restaurants, and events.
Human-in-the-Loop Controls: Lola uses AI to find and suggest great options, but the app will never buy anything or charge your card automatically. You always have the final say and must click to approve any booking.
Building your Dual-Layer Traveler Profile:
Your Saved Information: The exact details you give us or we find in your travel emails (like active frequent flyer numbers or passport data)
Lola’s Preference Layer: A summary Lola's AI creates to remember how you like to travel (e.g., "Prefers quiet boutique hotels and morning flights"), making future chats faster and smarter
B. AI Rules and Training Guardrails
Our AI Model Training Shield: We use private chat histories and text prompts to improve Lola's conversational skills. You can opt out of this private data training at any time. Any custom travel plans Lola builds for you remain private to your account unless you choose to share them publicly.
De-identified Product Optimization: We remove your name and personal details from old chat logs and search trends. We keep this de-identified data to train our AI and help it get smarter over time.
Our Promise for Google Data: Any data we collect from your connected Gmail or Google Calendar strictly follows Google’s API Services User Data Policy. We never use your Google data to serve ads, and we never use it to train public or third-party AI models.
3. Interacting with Lola’s AI Assistant
Lola is an AI travel companion. You talk to Lola in plain English, and the AI builds custom travel plans and summaries just for you. Because AI is a brand-new technology, Lola can occasionally make mistakes or show out-of-date prices. Think of Lola's summaries as a helpful shortcut, but you are always responsible for double-checking the exact dates, prices, and cancellation rules before you book. Your custom travel plans stay private to your account, but because Lola learns from global travel patterns, other members asking similar questions might receive similar recommendations.
4. How We Share Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal data. As a member of the Booking Holdings Inc. corporate group, we routinely share and receive data within our corporate family—which includes Booking.com, OpenTable, Priceline, Agoda, and Rentalcars.com. We share your information to make your travel bookings happen:
Booking Holdings Sister Brands: Lola connects with our parent company's brands - including Booking.com, Priceline, Agoda, KAYAK, OpenTable, and FareHarbor - to pull real-time pricing and give you premium VIP loyalty perks.
Service Providers: We send your data to third party service providers to fulfill your bookings, including SeatGeek, GetYourGuide, Viator, Uber, Hertz, Clear, Expedia Group, and direct airlines and hotel suppliers.
Secure AI Platforms: We securely pass chat prompts to third-party AI infrastructure providers to generate Lola's responses. Our contracts strictly forbid these AI vendors from keeping your data or using it to train their own models.
Legal & Business Changes: We share data with professional advisors, law enforcement (if legally required), or potential buyers during a corporate sale or merger.
5. Global Rights & Cookie Choices
Lola is currently in a limited, invite-only phase. We don't have automated privacy portals set up yet, but you still have full control over your data regardless of where you live:
Account Controls & Deletion: You can request a copy of your data, correct any profile fact, or request total account deletion at any time by emailing support@lola.com. We will take care of your request manually within thirty (30) days.
AI Training Opt-Out: You can tell us to stop using your private chats and emails to train our AI models through your profile privacy toggles.
Disconnecting Accounts: You can stop Lola from reading your email or calendar instantly by disconnecting them within your profile settings page or via your Google account security settings.
Cookie Controls: We use basic cookies to keep you logged in and make sure the app works properly. We do not host an interactive cookie banner on our site. If you want to block or limit tracking cookies, you can easily do that at any time through your own web browser's privacy settings.
6. Children and Teens
Lola is designed exclusively for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen (18) years of age.
